There’s a cool bit of overlap with Isard’s Revenge and The Last Command, as one of the last few chapters of that book happens concurrently with the first chapter here. Stackpole.Īfter getting a bit of the Rogues in Aaron Allston’s Wraith Squadron arc, we’re now catching up with them several years later, and, finally, I’m able to move chronologically past the Thrawn trilogy! I know ultimately everything I’ve been reading is bringing me closer to New Jedi Order, but to finally be moving forward in the timeline, it really feels like I’m making progress. After the absolute dumpster fire that was The Courtship of Princess Leia, I’m back in the very capable hands of Michael A. First, I would like to say: what a relief that this book isn’y by Dave Wolverton. I’ve actually had this one finished for a few weeks now, but a combination of quarantine and work have made me drag my feet in getting my review up. I unfortunately have been in Covid quarantine for the last few days, and an isolated Christmas wasn’t exactly ideal, but I was gifted a collection copy of I, Jedi, which is great because that’ll be coming up right after I read the Jedi Academy Trilogy.
